Job Opening: Professional Intern in Social Inclusion

Are you a recent graduate passionate about promoting gender equality and social inclusion? Enabel Rwanda is seeking an enthusiastic Professional Intern in Social Inclusion to join our urbanization projects. Collaborate with national and local authorities to enhance inclusive urban governance and infrastructure.

Role Location: Kigali, Rwanda (field visits to Bugesera and Rwamagana districts)

Contract Duration: 6 months (extendable)

Start Date: July 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate gender-responsive strategies within projects.
  • Facilitate community consultations, emphasizing participation by women and youth.
  • Engage with public, private, and communal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and document inclusive practices and outcomes of implemented projects.

Qualifications:

  • Rwandan citizenship, under 25 years of age.
  • Recent graduate (within 12 months) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Gender Studies, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • Minimum 70% grade achievement in university studies.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in English and Kinyarwanda (French beneficial).
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and data handling abilities.
