Boosting Gambian Talents (BGT), a project funded by the European Union and executed by Enabel in The Gambia, seeks to bolster Gambian human capital through a variety of initiatives. This role involves providing technical steering for TVET, managing grants, and collaborating with local and international stakeholders to facilitate skills development and socio-economic opportunities. The position ensures ensuring knowledge exchange amongst partners and monitoring project outcomes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinating with the TVET ecosystem within The Gambia.
• Fostering diaspora involvement for expertise and investment mobilization.
• Promoting dialogue between the public and private sectors.
• Collaborating with colleagues for private-sector enhancement.
• Managing M&E systems and providing ongoing project insights.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in a related field such as Education or Human Resource Development.
• At least 5 years’ experience in youth employability programs with relevant sector exposure.
• Proficiency in English with beneficial knowledge of local Gambian languages.
• Familiarity with thematic areas like gender equity, labor dynamics, and environmental sustainability.
